Dia de Los reyes Magos

nos toca la tamaleza el 3ro de febrero...In Mexico Día de la Candelaria is a follow-up to the festivities of Kings Day on January 6th, when children receive gifts and families and friends break bread together, specifically Rosca de Reyes, a special sweet bread with figurines hidden inside. The person (or people) who received the figurines on Kings Day are supposed to host the party on Candlemas Day. Tamales are the food of choice.

its been a while..

Memorial day weekend was not a fun one this year for us.. My uncle Renato Passed away on Thursday.. I have introduced my cuz Chentz well, his dad passed he was a GREAT man .. i don't have enough fingers to count how many times he bailed me out of a jam or picked me up at the greyhound in downtown LA or go to court with me .. I could go on.. but it was really hard to see my family in those circumstances.. My Dad said on the way down " why is it we don't make time to get together when we are a live instead of getting together when someone passes.. it had been years since i had seen some cuzin's but it was nice.. here are some pics of the weekend .. we tried to allow the boys to enjoy the trip.. so I do apologize if i missed something.. a call , a lunch.. a meeting.. i had family business to attend too..

Family Night out !!

Wow what a night.. well my Grandpa is visiting for about a month and he is leaving weds. sad:( for all of us .. but today He wanted to go out with the family so we all go to Hometown ( please know i hate the food there) so we all call everyone and we heve late comers till 6pm we are all tired and decide to take the kids to the park yup the park everyone played adults and kids we had a blast .. I was happy as well got to see my sister and the kids Javi my brother drove up aswell so everyone was there except one aunt.. Families are eternal if we could kick it here imagime up there.. ill post more pics... later

Family Reunion in Utah 8-7 to 8-9

IJ got to send his birthday at the camp.. turned 7 on 8-8-8

We got to go to Utah for Summer vacation and at the same time enjoy Granma Marilyn's side family reunion.. it was fun we got to meet new family members and see family we have not seen in a long time..
